Buttigieg Campaign Staffer Encourages Violence Against Matt Gaetz

A staffer for 2020 presidential candidate and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg encouraged violent leftists to throw cups of urine on Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) after the Congressman was pelted with a milkshake earlier this month, for which he is pressing charges.

Who: Buttigieg staffer Samantha Lillian Elaine Pollara made the call for violence, first reported by LauraLoomer.us.

What: Pollara encouraged others to throw urine on Gaetz, instead of milkshakes in an effort to oppose the congressman.

When: The story erupted over the weekend.

Where: Gaetz is a Florida congressman. Buttigieg is campaigning nationwide for the 2020 Democratic Party nomination for president.

Why: Political tensions are high in the United States. “Milkshaking” has become a common tactic used by leftists to attack right-wingers. Saturday, Portland-based reporter Andy Ngo was “milkshaked” by members of Antifa, a loosely connected far-left network described by some as a terrorist organization.
