Gillibrand Wants to Explain ‘White Privilege’ to You

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), perhaps the most cringeworthy leftist candidate in an ocean of cringe, vowed to knock on doors and explain to suburban white people what “white privilege” is.

“So I don’t believe it’s the responsibility of Corey [Booker] and Kamala [Harris] to be the only voice that takes these issues of institutional racism, systemic racism in our country,” Gillibrand said on Wednesday night. “I think as a white woman of privilege who is a U.S. senator running for president of the United States, it is also my responsibility to lift up those voices that aren’t being listened to. And I can talk to those white women in the suburbs that voted for Trump and explain to them what white privilege is. When their son is walking down the street with a bag of M&M’s in his pocket wearing a hoodie, his whiteness protects him from not being shot.”

Gillibrand was referring to Trayvon Martin, who according to a court, was justifiably shot and killed by George Zimmerman after smashing Zimmerman’s head into the pavement multiple times during a fight in their Florida neighborhood. Those are minor details for a Senator trying to propagandize her way into the presidency.

“When his – when her – when their child has a car that breaks down and he knocks on someone’s door for help and the door opens and the help is given, it’s his whiteness that protects him from being shot,” Gillibrand continued. “That’s what white privilege in America is today. So my responsibility is to not only lift up those stories but explain to communities across America, like I did in Youngstown, Ohio, to a young mother, that this is all of our responsibility. And together we can make our community stronger.”

It will be exciting to see how Gillibrand’s plan plays out in the Rust Belt, where ordinary, blue collar, white Americans struggle to survive.
