Report: Confused Biden Offers Condolences for Shooting Victims in Houston and Michigan

At a Sunday fundraiser in San Diego, former vice president and 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden offered his sympathy for victims of mass shootings in two places where mass shootings did not occur.

“Biden, 76, mistakenly referred to the shootings as ‘the tragic events in Houston today and also in Michigan the day before,’ but later corrected himself, according to a pool report,” The Washington Examiner reported. “Biden seemingly confused Houston for El Paso and Michigan for Ohio when speaking to donors about the shootings.”

A mass shooting in El Paso Saturday claimed the lives of 20, while another in Dayton, Ohio early Sunday morning claimed the lives of nine.

Biden has come under fire during his presidential campaign for stammering and stuttering during speeches, and on the debate stage. Even The New York Times has questioned Biden’s mental fitness to hold the office of President.

Despite that, he still leads in national polls.
