CNN anchor Chris Cuomo is now known as ‘Fredo’ by Siri after a viral incident in which he was confronted in public, and threatened to physically assault a man who called him by that nickname.
The trend went viral after radio show host Joe Dan Gorman, known as “Intellectual FrogLegs,” posted a video of himself asking how old Cuomo was.
“Fredo Cuomo is 49 years old,” Siri said in response.

Several other Twitter users tried the experiment – and it worked.
“I took a screenshot,” one user replied to Gorman.

After Cuomo threatened to throw a man down the stairs for calling him “Fredo,” CNN said it stood by the anchor, claiming that “Fredo” is a racial slur against Italians. Embarrassingly, the word has been used on their network – and by Cuomo himself – on several occasions.
So, the internet did what the internet does. It lit
Fredo Cuomo up all day Tuesday, mocking him by using his new nickname.
