An MSNBC host was forced to walk back comments she made on air Tuesday night claiming that President Donald J. Trump wanted to genocide Latinos.
“President Obama used the power of the presidency to try to pass comprehensive immigration reform with the Latino community – Latino leaders at the table,” Nicolle Wallace said. “You now have a president talking about, you said, exterminating Latinos.”
Wallace guest was unfazed, and an totally agreed with the host.
“Right,” he replied enthusiastically.
Wallace took a proverbial beating online for her egregious rhetoric, and walked back her comments after backlash.
“I misspoke about Trump calling for an extermination of Latinos,” she said on Twitter. “My mistake was unintentional and I’m sorry. Trump’s constant assault on people of color and his use of the word ‘invasion’ to describe the flow of immigrants is intentional and constant.”

Put that in the category of a half-apology. Wallace still managed to scapegoat Trump for her own hysterical propaganda.
Funny how these mainstream press mistakes always seem to go one way.
