The young scholars at the University of Vermont are upset over so called “hate stickers” that appeared on campus, which were not sufficiently far left for them.
The stickers had slogans on them which read “Keep America American,” and “Better Dead Than Red,” an old anti-communist saying. But the stickers did not sit well with the communist students.
NBC5 reported on the incident, interviewing some UVM students for its report.
“It’s kind of scary, because this is a really diverse campus,” one student said.
The police were called in to investigate the event.
